Wertingen/ Schärding - At the beginning of 2021, thousands of roof tiles and accessories traveled from Hörsching to Schärding. The destination was the new, larger Creaton GmbH warehouse. As a result, the leading supplier of pitched roof systems is demonstrating an even greater local presence and offering customers in Austria faster delivery times and greater availability of goods.
Rapid availability thanks to optimized logistics
More than 600 items from the clay roof tile and accessories ranges are always available for delivery in the new warehouse. Sufficient storage space for the extensive product range is provided by the approximately 1,000 m2 hall and the spacious outdoor warehouse with 6,400 m2 of storage area. A staging area for commissioned goods and an area for loading and unloading trucks ensure smooth logistics. Specialist dealers and roofing companies in Austria will thus benefit in the future from greater availability of common Creaton articles. Service provider and operator of the Creaton distribution warehouse remains the long-standing forwarding partner Schachinger Baulogistik GmbH.
