Administrative headquarters of the entire company

Clay roof tiles have been produced at the traditional "Berchtold" facility in Wertingen since 1884. Approx. 20 million pressed roof tiles in the form of the MELODIE, HARMONIE, ELEGANZ and HERZZIEGEL models are produced at this location which is also the CREATON administrative headquarters. After a catastrophic fire in May 2007, the entire plant was renovated, redesigned and developed into one of the most modern clay roof tile facilities in Europe with a total investment of 26 million euros.

The distribution warehouse in Söhlingen is centrally located in the delivery area of Northern Germany, near Soltau. It is divided into an external warehouse with a size of 4,500 m² and a storage hall of 500m². The external warehouse consists of block storage spaces, as well as storage areas for picked goods and an area for loading and unloading trucks. The hall contains rack storage spaces and storage areas for small parts.

Joint Venture of Creaton GmbH

EL-Tec GmbH, based in Wassenberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, near the German-Dutch border, was founded in 2018 as a joint venture between Creaton GmbH and Winterhalder Selbstklebetechnik GmbH. The company develops and manufactures products for pitched roof applications and façades as well as for various areas of the manufacturing industry using modern and flexible machines.

Warehouse Schärding

Warehouse in Austria

More than 600 articles from the areas of clay roof tiles and accessories are always available for delivery in the new warehouse. Sufficient storage space for the extensive assortment is provided by the approximately 1,000 m² hall and the spacious outdoor warehouse with 6,400 m² of storage area. A staging area for commissioned goods and an area for loading and unloading trucks ensure smooth logistics. Specialist dealers and roofing companies in Austria will thus benefit in the future from greater availability of common Creaton articles. Service provider and operator of the Creaton distribution warehouse remains the long-standing forwarding partner Schachinger Baulogistik GmbH.
